Museum-grade cotton papers, baryta, watercolor and smooth art papers, plus photo papers from satin to metallic. Printed here, with critical color matching, in sizes up to 60 × 90 inches.
This is the question we get asked most, and the answer depends on the picture, not the paper. A few rules of thumb from our printers:
100% cotton, bright white, smooth, museum quality, 300 gsm. Our most-used fine art paper and a safe choice for almost any image.
A cotton base with a finely textured high-gloss baryta surface. Exceptional density, color range and sharpness. Archival, with no optical brighteners. 315 gsm.
Bright white, 300 gsm, with the heavy texture of traditional watercolor paper. Acid and lignin free. Made for reproductions of paintings and drawings.
Natural white, smooth, 270 gsm. Museum-grade with Wilhelm-certified archival ratings. A quieter, warmer alternative to bright-white cotton.
100% cotton, lightly textured, bright white, 310 gsm, with no optical brighteners. Museum-level archival quality with a touch of surface.
Standard sizes are listed on our price pages, but we print any size up to 60 inches wide. Use the calculator for an odd size, or call us.
Luster-finish resin-coated photo paper. The economical choice when prints will be mounted.
The same luster finish on a thicker base. The better choice when prints will be handled or framed without mounting.
Gloss-finish photo paper with extremely fine detail. For images that want shine and sharpness.
A high-gloss paper with a distinctive metallic shimmer. Striking on landscapes, cars, water and anything with light in it.
A strip of your image, about 5 × 17 inches, printed at final size on the paper you’re considering. Recommended for prints over $50.
An 8 × 44 inch proof with part of your image at print size, the whole image small, and nine color-and-density variations to choose from.
Once you’ve approved the proof, the full print is made on the same paper, on the same printer, by the same person.
