Here’s how a print job moves from your file to a finished piece. Know what you want? Start at step 1 and price it out. Not sure where to begin? Skip to step 2 — send us your files and we’ll help you figure out the rest.
Know what you want? Start here.
If you’ve ordered prints online before, the price calculator is the place to start. It’s detailed, because there’s a lot to choose from, but it walks you through the decisions in order: size, paper or surface, borders, proofs, mounting, stretching, hanging hardware. The price updates as you go.
When you’re happy, save it as a quote. You’ll get a quote number, and the calculator will send you straight to the upload page.
Not sure? Start here instead.
If you’d rather not work through the calculator, just send us the file. Upload up to 100 files in one go, 1 GB total; large, high-resolution files are welcome. If you have a quote number, include it. If you don’t, that’s fine.
With your image in front of us and in front of you, we can go through the choices together, on the phone or at the counter, and put the quote together for you.
One of our printers looks at your file and your quote before anything is made. We check that the file has enough resolution for the size, that the crop and borders are what you meant, and that the paper or surface suits the image. If something looks off, we call or email you before going ahead.
For larger or more particular jobs we may suggest a sliver proof: a strip of your image printed at final size, on the paper you chose, so you can see it in hand first.
Once the details are confirmed we send an invoice. You can pay it online by card, over the phone, or at the counter when you pick up.
Finished work is picked up at the shop on East Pima Street, where you can look it over before you take it home. If you need something shipped, ask and we’ll work it out.
